GETTING DOWN WITH THE SHIP: WHY LEONARDO DICAPRIO CHOSE TO RIDE ‘TITANIC’

It has been over 16 years since James Cameron's historical epic film Titanic was released. The film, which is still one of the most beloved today, turned Academy Award nominated actor Leonado DiCaprio into a worldwide star.

Having already earned an Academy Award nomination, DiCaprio had consciously eschewed epic blockbusters, so it came as a surprise when he signed on to Cameron's massive retelling of the world’s most famous shipwreck. We spoke with DiCaprio for the film’s original 1997 release and he talked about his decision to get on board.

Leonardo DiCaprio has garnered yet another Academy Award nomination for his role as Jordan Belfort in Martin Scorsese's The Wolf of Wall Street, currently in theaters.

THE MINDY PROPHET: STARDOM IS IN CHRIS MESSINA’S FUTURE

Throughout television history, there have been many characters who have had great chemistry together on-screen. The iconic characters Sam Malone and Diane Chambers (Cheers), Mudler and Scully (The X Files), and David Addison and Maddie Hayes (Moolighting) are the first to come to mind, and many think that Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) and Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) of The Mindy Project should be added to that list.

Many have fallen for Chris Messina, who brings charm, humor and his good looks to the series. Star/writer/producer Mindy Kaling, who is a big fan of her co-star, says that like Bruce Willis (whose role on Moonlighting helped launched his career to becoming one of the biggest movie stars in the world), Messina is on his way to mirror that level of success. She also said that she thinks Messina has the goods to be one of Hollywood's leading men.

Catch The Mindy Project Tuesday night 9:30/8:30 central on FOX.

BETWEEN BABIES & 'BUYERS CLUB,' JENNIFER GARNER'S BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

Raising kids isn’t easy business no matter who you are. Although Jennifer Garner is that rare actor who has carved out a successful career, being good at what you do doesn’t erase one’s most important responsibilities.

The project, directed by Jean-Marc Vallee, is based on Woodroof’s determined battle with the government to have the right to take whatever medications he chooses to battle his condition.

THE JOKER & THE PENGUIN TRIED, BUT DID GEORGE CLOONEY ALMOST KILL BATMAN?

As everyone knows by now, Ben Affleck has been named to play Batman in Batman vs. Superman, the sequel to Man of Steel. There has been so much unwarranted backlash towards Ben Affleck playing the caped crusader. But, as many other articles on the web have pointed out, actors Michael Keaton and Academy Award winner George Clooney were similarly criticized when they were cast as Batman in previous Batman films.

Clooney starred as Batman back in 1997’s Batman & Robin, which was the second Batman film directed by Joel Schumacher. We have spoken to Clooney, who takes responsibility for the film’s poor performance. We don’t think it was his fault. We think Schumacher’s vision, or lack thereof, is the reason why the film was a disappointment. Years ago, Clooney told us why he thought the film wasn’t well received.

JERRY SEINFELD & LARRY DAVID, TOGETHER AGAIN: CAN THEY CREATE ANOTHER CLASSIC?

Yesterday, comic Jerry Seinfeld announced that he is working on a new project with his close friend Larry David, who was the co-creator of the iconic series, Seinfeld.

It is hard to believe that it has been 15 years since Seinfeld first aired its last episode in 1998.  Since then, the series has continued to air around the world in reruns.  With such memorable phrases as “No soup for you!” and “It’s not a lie if you believe,” it’s easy to see why Seinfeld is transcendent.  We spoke to Jerry Seinfeld, who told us that although he doesn’t feel it has had such an effect on pop culture, he is still proud that it is considered a memorable show.
