THE MINDY PROPHET: STARDOM IS IN CHRIS MESSINA’S FUTURE

Throughout television history, there have been many characters who have had great chemistry together on-screen. The iconic characters Sam Malone and Diane Chambers (Cheers), Mudler and Scully (The X Files), and David Addison and Maddie Hayes (Moolighting) are the first to come to mind, and many think that Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling) and Danny Castellano (Chris Messina) of The Mindy Project should be added to that list.

Many have fallen for Chris Messina, who brings charm, humor and his good looks to the series. Star/writer/producer Mindy Kaling, who is a big fan of her co-star, says that like Bruce Willis (whose role on Moonlighting helped launched his career to becoming one of the biggest movie stars in the world), Messina is on his way to mirror that level of success. She also said that she thinks Messina has the goods to be one of Hollywood's leading men.
