JAMES PUREFOY’S ‘FOLLOWING’ FANS SHOW NO FEAR

Debonair – and deadly. That would be one way to describe Joe Carroll, the character played to perfection on “The Following” by James Purefoy. That contradiction extends to the actor himself – while Carroll is diabolical and violent, Purefoy is both cheerful and approachable in real life. But he does such a great job of portraying a creepy serial killer, you would expect some fans to be a bit intimidated when they encounter him in real life. Purefoy insists that’s not the case, though.

“The Following” airs Monday nights at 9/8 Central on FOX.
