SCHWARZENEGGER HAPPY TO ‘BE BACK’ IN OLD ROLE AS TERMINATOR

Terminator fans—it is time to get excited! The new Terminator, or rather, what is being called a reboot, is starting to come together.  A few days ago, Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke was cast to take on the iconic role of Sarah Connor.  The character was previously played by Linda Hamilton on the big screen, and Clarke’s Game of Thrones co-star, Lena Headey, played Sarah Connor in the FOX series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Casting is still in progress, but Jason Clarke, who previously starred on the FOX critically acclaimed cop drama, The Chicago Code, is in talks to play John Connor. But the biggest news of all is that Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will be reprising his role of The Terminator.

We have spoken to Schwarzenegger several times over the years, and he has always showed affection for The Terminator role that made him a worldwide superstar. Schwarzenegger told us that he would always want to return to the Terminator franchise, as long as the fans want to see it.
The Terminator franchise is one of the biggest grossing film franchises in movie history, and its impact on movie fans is still felt today, 29 years after the original release. To this day, people still quote the movie, and Schwarzenegger is proud of the impact that The Terminator has had in pop culture.
The new Terminator film is slated to be released on July 1, 2015
