HARRY CONNICK, JR.: TO STAY ON ‘IDOL,’ STAY ON POINT WITH YOUR SONGS

The “American Idol” judges can be tough, but as Kristen O’Connor discovered last week, the “Idol” audience can be even tougher.  With just 12 contestants remaining, each of them will have to bring their “A” game week after week.  And as Harry Connick, Jr. told us after last week’s elimination, a big part of being at the top of your game on “Idol” is being consistently good with their song choices.

Tonight, the Top 12 perform for America’s votes, hoping they won’t be the one going home tomorrow night.  “American Idol” airs this week at 8/7 Central Wednesday and Thursday on FOX.
